The cap and ring seat has oxidized hardware and is a perfectly varnished smoky veined walnut

The screw barrel is 10 threads per inch and the nut has a neat little finely knurled bit of decoration trim and is raised for easy grasping

Handsome largely swelled butt

Nice leather light tan binding and cloth slipcover

The reel is in unused condition but has some type of straight-line mark on the faceplate as shown in the last photo (perhaps from being compressed against the spare reel foot while housed in its original presentation leather case)
