X - Los Angeles LP post-rock "some imagined badland where the180 gram vinyl. Includes insert. Highly recommended. In any context, this album is an absolutely timeless crossover punk classic. Exene had no vocal ability at that time, and producer Ray Manzarek's added keyboards were a bit much, but the peerless power trio and the Exene John Doe songwriting tandem and harmonizing were desperately needed. A must. Mildly sordid tales by people who simultaneously condemn and participate in the demise of civilization.
