Very clean
The set with agate tip-tops was likely the original set
was done so in a very professional manner
Moderately tempered cane with a matte finish
with a few bands of purple tipping at the winding check and male ferrules
Peerless #2 Reel 7'5" Very cleanA nice Peerless model 2 fly reel, 3 1 4" diameter and set up for LHW. Good used condition, with moderate rim rash on the frame edges concentrated in the "resting spot" and some mounting marks to the foot, but pretty clean otherwise. Clear anodized frame and spool with black anodized sideplates. Classic S handle design. The spool and sideplate on the cranking side are ventilated. The reel weighs 5. 1 ounces on my scale. Designed for a #5 or #6 line
