Excellent classic ‘90s shouty guitar stuff
The title track sounds rather gloriously chillwave (is that still a thing
but their versions had the swagger of a gang instead of pared down charm
It has since been reissued on a number of different labels and formats
and Dale Crover's excellent frenetic drumming
RANGE RATS - s/t LP jangle Excellent classic ‘90s shouty guitarRecorded in 1986, this is Fred and Toody Coles (Weeds, Lollipop Shoppe, Zipper, Torpedoes, Rats, Western Front, Desperate Edge, Dead Moon, Pierced Arrows, and so on) great lost country LP! All original compositions some sad lilting ballads and some punk as hell. Two songs feature Fred n Toody playing with Rollie, a janky Roland drum machine that didnt keep a consistent meter very well. The rest of the songs were recorded with a lean mean band.
