A Ron Kusse Beaverkill Quad fly rod
Chase" and was owned by Marvin Chase
in used condition
It differs from my later rods by the following two details: there is a wooden lip on the reel seat where it meets the rear of the grip and the wraps are a slightly darker shade of red then the current "may rose" color that I would later settle on (with edges that are also slightly darker)
None of the important reel information has been removed
Fin-Nor Wedding Cake #1 Fly Reel with Spare Spool 4-piece A Ron Kusse Beaverkill QuadA very nice Fin Nor Wedding Cake #1 fly reel with one spare spool and set up for RHW. The reel and spare spool are in near mint condition, with just a few tiny marks indicating that it has ever seen any use. Gold anodizing with the famous stacked wedding cake design. Serial #491. These #1 Wedding Cakes are very hard to find as I believe no more than 600 were ever made. The reel comes in a non original suede zipper pouch (the spare spool has no pouch).
