JOHNNY CASH - American V: A Hundred Highways LP power pop Originally released on the Philips180 gram vinyl. Would this be another case of cashing in (pun intended) on the great man's legacy and ruin what has been the near perfect American Recordings series? I needn't have worried. In the hands of Rick Rubin, Cash's integrity remains as potent as ever and A Hundred Highways is a gloomy, positive and heartbreakingly emotional trip with a man who knows his life is coming to an end.
