After that the group splintered and expanded
Vocalist Drew Citron’s delivery is perhaps at odds with the excitable band behind him
every bit as odd and memorable
Babes Never Die is a dynamic album – guitars come in salvos and the almost angry female vocals sound pretty punkish in style
and heartworn ballads and melds them into a new sound that retains all their former live show glories while revealing a new level of songwriting and nuance
DOORS - s/t LP Lo-fi After that the group splintered180 gram vinyl. Theres so much to be said of The Doors but the only words truly worth listening to are those that the band recorded to wax and there cannot be any better starting point than their eponymous debut album. An electrifying LP with heavy hitters such as Break on Through (To The Other Side) and Soul Kitchen, the LP finishes with eleven brooding minutes of bubbling insanity, and surely the bands most recognisable track The End.
