Littles - 4x8 Jadeed
But even if it isn't quite fully realized
mainly courtesy of the efforts of Peter Gabriel and his Womad festival but 70s Nigeria remained completely unheard of outside of Fela Kuti and even he was pretty obscure and mainly known through his relationship with Ginger Baker
and tales of unrequited love and anthems from beyond the grave
Agreement to release the track was made with the blessing of Jay’s estate
PRIMITIVE RING - In The Ground 7" (colour vinyl) rockabilly Littles - 4x8 JadeedLimited edition colour vinyl. Primitive Ring consists of Bert Hoover (Hooveriii, GROOP), Jon Modaff (JModaff, Hooveriii, GROOP), and Charles Moothart (Fuzz, GGGS). The three LA based musicians found each other in a collective state of high functioning de evolution, and collectively agreed to bend the knee to the primal instincts of melody and rhythm. Primitive Ring started when the three members realized their worlds were organically converging.
