The Frustrations and The Nation Blue turned inward
From fragile acoustic numbers to dark
Heavily influenced by no wave
Self-analysis
In the vapor trail of “How Does It Make You Feel” you can smell the burnt ozone of a seventies-full-orchestra-nebula-pop-odyssey
ALEX CAMERON - Miami Memory LP mag The Frustrations and The NationIncludes d l code. Gatefold sleeve. Step aside dad rock, Alex Cameron's here and he's got something called stepdad rock in the shape of Miami Memory. It's hard to know exactly what that means but part of it seems to be about looking out rather than in. Musically we've got overwrought and emotional anthems with a bit of saxophone and church organ for good measure.
