Early home recordings from post punk's finest
Branca began to work on ambitious
Continuing down the path laid out by their peculiar muse - “future pastoral” - is this cheerfully shambolic lo-fi band with a playful take on psychedelic folk rock
an encroaching darkness spreads out over side two of New Lands
they chainsaw through weirdo film and caveman rock and space noise and make smart sound so dumb it turns inside-out and becomes brilliant
JAMIROQUAI - Emergency On Planet Earth 2LP acoustic Early home recordings from postBrilliant debut album, something for all here in Is this soul? Is this funk? Is this world music? Is this dance music? Is this rock?? Actually, who cares this is just the debut album of a young genius who I am sure was not constrained by genre! Highly entertaining, superbly arranged and a fairly timeless and enjoyable listen. Probably Jamiroquai at their best, although some of their later albums had much to offer also.
