NDIKHO XABA AND THE NATIVES - s/t LP live Recorded in a complete analogIncludes 4 page B+W printed insert. To begin, "Shwabada" gives an indication that this is going to be an avant garde listen, but this is not to be. Following this wonderful percussive avant garde track are more jazz inspired percussive numbers, now with some groove, and lyrics. Shouted chants and freedom rhythms. Santana lovers might even find groove to dig here, as Santana was also rooted in percussion and African rhythms.
