Genie Bottle in Ash Glaze, 13.25"h (Ben Owen III) Carved Designs although a great representationBottles are traditional forms that were originally created for the strict purpose of containment. Today, bottle forms are appreciated for their delicate decorative shapes which contrast their organic, primal feel. This Genie Bottle is a classic form made by Ben Owen III with a design influence from early Asian ceramic art made during the Song Dynasty. Ben III also often looks to nature for design.
