40s Wide Neck Tie Orange Gabardine Print by Yankee vintage knit wear Orange w Black backgroundDETAILS: This vintage necktie probably dates to the late 1940s, when ties were still wide, but prints and colors were getting a little more sedate. This tie is a twill gabardine weave instead of jacquard, with an overall print of small pointy ended ellipses in peach, white and dark orange against a muted burnt orange background.
