Both decks introduce mechanics and playstyles we rarely see in preconstructed products, and both offer real depth for long-term Commander players

While the feel of modern new and fake cards are very similar (smooth and polished), an old, real card is supposed to be rougher to the touch

As I say, there's a lot going on for a fairly high cost, and I struggle to see this card seeing too much play given the setup required to cast it for its Shift cost, especially in Ruby & Steel decks which typically skew far more aggressive

The cards premium status completely vanished when the competitive meta shifted away from Fusion Strike archetypes, leading to the Genesect V unit becoming a beautiful piece of art only
