When paired with consistent graveyard recursion cards found in Commander decks built around creatures like Meren of Clan Nel Toth, Spore Frog can allow its controller to essentially prevent damage that would be dealt to them every turn , keeping them alive long enough to enact whatever shenanigans they have in mind

It causes me physical pain to say this, but again, its a tool against hexproof creatures, which are usually the order of play in Voltron decks

Id add it in decks built to attack with a large number of creatures, or to Isshin, Two Heavens as One decks to double its powerful trigger

When you do, return each nonland permanent you don't control to its owner's hand

While counterfeit cards aim to look as close as the real card as possible, proxies often have alternate art or card borders
