To cast a Turn 2 Karn, you need two pieces of fast mana, two lands, a zero-drop creature to enable Springleaf Drum or Mox Opal, and the Karn itself

You really need to have a good idea of whats common enough in the format to deserve a slot in your deck, though, and occasionally these cards will still be a dead draw

Basically, the top three are fairly interchangeable but worth a meaningful amount more than the bottom two, based mostly on the relative value of the reprints in each deck

They play a great match against each other in a vacuum and can continue to hang with the original Commander precon, Commander 2013, and even the Commander 2015 decks
