This was mostly because of Geargia's smaller core of monsters that effectively kept the players hand full and with monsters on the field, while also helping them run traps for every situation
If your plan is to legitimately use milling in one of these ways, go for it
Good cards to get rid of would be big boss monsters, or cards that destroy spells/traps
