Antique Reverse Glass Painting of Sleeping Girl and Dog, Framed pottery cup are slip trailed arching white

are slip trailed arching white lines in slight relief

I just picked up six of these brilliantly colorful pattern paintings on lightweight board and think they are just gorgeous

but I think this lustre-glazed Oxford (larger than most) rather transcends the genre

This sterling silver vintage pin is marked D'Molina

In very good antique condition with a terrific patina

Antique Reverse Glass Painting of Sleeping Girl and Dog, Framed pottery cup are slip trailed arching whiteI have dreams of having a dog as big as I am, for all of the reasons this wonderful Victorian era I believe reverse glass painting captures; how nice to have this giant, loyal, protective creature watching over one, and over everything! The grey strom clouds looming on the horizon amplify the effect, all while this little girl dreams away, completely oblivious. Just great, and in great condition, in a perfectly suited old black painted wooden frame. 9
