Dating from around the late 19th century, I believe, and presumed British, this handblown glass flask likely once had a leather or perhaps wicker cover over its top half, which is now gone, but the glass is quite thick and I'd guess would not shatter very easily, and the pewter top screws on nice and snug. The flask measures 6 1 2" inches
