It measures 15" from top to bottom along the exterior (raw) edge
just missing a plate of glass (though I might be tempted to forego it and just tape whatever to the back side
it immediately made me think of Duchamp's last work
This heavy brass one was made by The Wilson Bohannan Company in Marion Ohio
with some small scattered scratches to the surface of the stone and one thin hairline crack on the right side near the tail
Lovely Small Carved Swan with Rotating Neck Signed letter B It measures 15" from topIt is particularly the very elongated, undulating form of this swan's head and beak that really makes it special to me, giving it a sense of kinship with my favorite root head decoys. I also like that the neck was done as a separate piece, allowing this swan to crane its neck in various directions! Signed MW on the underside, which has not lead me to its maker, but whoever it was certainly knew what they were doing. Lovely. 6 3 4" l x 4 1 4" t x 3 5
