Snisl cassia beck It is framed floated andOriginal watercolour and bodycolour (gouache) on board. This artwork is unframed and measures 29. 5 x 21 cm (a4). Snisl is another Shetland Norn word, similar to dister. It describes a light shower, though this could also be of hail or sleet. In this painting we can see light starting to cut through cloud, as Peter's veils of colour create an evocative, dream like scene.
