Fabulous c. 1930s Painted Relief Carved Portrait of Native American Beauty house in a bottle the silver-plate polished right upI love this carving, particularly for how resolved and confident it feels, and how proud and self possessed she seems herself. Wonderfully voluptuous facial features in silhouette and then this magnificent curve of helmet like headdress, with exuberantly painted decoration for head band and huge earrings in the middle. Plus what I believe is a lock of hair curling around her earlobe. This one feels quite singular to me. 10 5 8" x 8 3 4" x 13 16 d" and
