I love the plumpness of those toes too
There are a few very small chips to the surface of the body of the pot
Wear to the surface of the wood
anxious about what images I might find in them

SOLD Daffodils in Glass Jar, Earlyish 20th C. Signed Oil on Tin Painting vintage dog show award I love the plumpness ofThis painting, oil on tin, just struck me as quite a nice one, with a satisfying moodiness and sense of symbolism to it. The season for daffodils is half a year away as I write this, but the painting feels to me as much about the fading as the blooming, with the tips of a number of the leaves curling to brown, and the shadowy golds and grays of the ground enhancing a sense of late in the day ness. All the while the full blooms are really lovely. 15 7
