pissarro pont neuf Dimensions (inches):38 x 32" As is well knownSpecifically, this landscape was painted from the window of an apartment at 28 Place Dauphine Street. From there, this view that inspired the painter can be seen, as he himself would tell his niece Lucien in a letter. The theme of the Parisian urban landscape is recurrent in Pissarro; during his career, he made several paintings of this same bridge from different angles and with different lighting.
