Handsome Man with Mustache, Bowler, and Unbuttoned Buttons, Antique Tintype fine baskets and the gray-tan velvet dyed

and the gray-tan velvet dyed (now very) pale blue at the very center of the top and bottom

Ultra sharp and crystal clear with rich detail and tonality

Terrific unusual point of view

and because I have a penchant for all things relating to homing pigeons

The box opens and closes easily and is in good overall condition

Handsome Man with Mustache, Bowler, and Unbuttoned Buttons, Antique Tintype fine baskets and the gray-tan velvet dyedJust a terrific portrait I think. Very handsome and appearing very at ease, including for the gape between the unbuttoned buttons on his vest. (Looks as if he might reach inside and pull out four Aces! ) I also really like the effect of the slightly wavering arches above and below framing him, as if he were being viewed through a makeshift scope. The fabric draped over the arm of the chair lends a sort of grandmotherly sweetness, too. 3 1 2" x 2 1 2".
