Lovely Little Pale Blue Bud Vase textile with birds and people While I am uncertain of

While I am uncertain of its maker or its age

it's also just a wonderfully unusual and curious object

Its got a wonderful wonderful patina

this beautiful basket also carries the spiritual and historical significance of the whale to the Makah

I really might instead turn it upside down and build an alter around this one

Lovely Little Pale Blue Bud Vase textile with birds and people While I am uncertain ofThis is one of my very favorite bud vases ever, and I've collected and sold a lot of bud vases! Signed with what looks like "Jani" and stamped "Brandon Stoneware" a pottery studio in Brandon, Mississippi it has a wonderful, delicate form and is glazed the palest, most ethereal shade of blue. Really, this little vase emits an aura like radiance. Every sort of bud looks lovely in it, and it looks lovely most anywhere! 3 5 8" tall x 3 1 4" at widest
