Scottie Dog Folk Art Doorstop in Nice Old Blue Paint carved snake this is a very special

this is a very special thing

or maybe all the more so because of it

and happily so

and I must admit I am wary of taken more than a few pieces apart for fear of not being able to put it back together

Scottie Dog Folk Art Doorstop in Nice Old Blue Paint carved snake this is a very specialIt's the great old blue paint with yellow details that really sold me on this one, which also makes this Scottie a bit of an unusual pup! I know that he was pulled out of an old estate in Deerfield, NH just the other day, right in time for me to find him! 10 1 8" t x 6" w x 5" d and in good, sturdy shape, with no losses, just nice wear and softening to the blue paint, c. 1940s I would think.
