McKinley, Ron / Macklin Customs Bamboo Rod 7'6" 2/2 #4/5 8 Weight Rod weight: 4 1/4 ozFor sale here is a masterpiece presentation rod by Ron McKinley, who made rods under the name "Macklin Customs". This rod is 7 1 2 feet with two sections and two tips, based on a Leonard taper and style. Perfectly executed cosmetics in my opinion. On the bottom of the butt cap is a beyond amazing scrimshaw insert with a Royal Wulff pattern. The action of this rod I would rate as on the medium side of medium fast, plenty of reserve power. Rod weighs 4.
