Here we are transported to an imagined moment in Hackneys past, led up the pathway to St Augustines Tower, welcomed by blossoming trees. The oldest surviving building in Hackney, it is all that remains of a 16th century Parish Church, which itself replaced a 13th century Medieval Church founded by the Knights of St John. It stands as a beacon of the past, still
