Yellow with Red Stripe Old Wooden Railroad Sign wooden cutout figure 13 7/8" long x 1

13 7/8" long x 1 1/2" wide x 7/8" deep

and it holds sturdily open

it would once have held a glass bottle inside

I'd like to think whoever drew these had a personal connection

I think this is a fantastic drawing--giving form to "stuck"-ness in an explicitly literal (and very 1970s) way

Yellow with Red Stripe Old Wooden Railroad Sign wooden cutout figure 13 7/8" long x 1I found this and two others similar the other day in Maine, and understand that they were railroad signs I'd guess this one signaled "caution" with stop ahead? With great heavily nailed and scuffed up surface, and what I find to be a gorgeous combo of geometries, I like it as a readymade painting of sorts, good hung on the wall by itself, and perhaps even better with the other two! 18" x 18" x 1 5 8". Super solid structural shape and great surface.
