Scientific studies indicate that brachinites originate from multiple asteroid parent bodies

NWA 15404 L-melt rock 38.9 g CR2 This Fragment weighs [4NWA 15404 (L melt rock) This rare ordinary chondrite from the L group has undergone secondary melting, creating a stunning microporphyritic texture. It contains well defined olivine and pyroxene grains with traces of FeNi metal and sulfides, revealing a history of intense thermal processing on its parent body. Found near Talsint, Morocco, this meteorite shows a brownish matrix without fusion crust a striking example of natural planetary melting.
