very human
and I'd guess they are meant to represent the twins of Gemini
) There are a few small punctures in the canvas
very sturdy shape
I can't quite figure out which side is meant to be the front
Very Old Hand-Carved Arm with Stigmata octopus very humanI have to think this was once attached to a very old carved Christ figure, due to the stigmata piercing the palm of the hand. It feels pretty ancient, and beautiful I think for quite the patina it has acquired, including a little loss to a couple of the fingers. Quite an evocative thing. 10 inches long x 2 3 8" wide x 1 1 4" d. Much aged over at least a couple hundred years I'd think, all to the good, and not fragile.
