Excellent Child's School Book Drawing, Boy Driving Car with Hand Crank lost wax casting and I just found it

and I just found it all these hands and feet together pretty striking

and a little shelf at bottom for holding crayons or brushes or whatever

in any event

I believe it is safe to categorize this one as a sampler

Excellent Child's School Book Drawing, Boy Driving Car with Hand Crank lost wax casting and I just found itA terrific drawing I think, found in an old primer that was falling apart so I extracted it. I love how the figure was drawn, with these great bowed lines for legs connecting to the pedals, and everything about the drawing really, including the inclusion of the crank at front, which would have taken some turning to get the car going. Just my sort of drawing, late 19th c. I believe. 7 3 16" x 4 9 16". There is a clean tear coming in from the left edge
