John and His Rooster Sam, Very Sweet Old Mounted Snapshot antique embroidery on linen Ireland [now in Northern Ireland]—diedJohn and his rooster Sam, as handwritten on the back looking very much like true companions. Just great. 5 7 8" x 4 3 16" as mounted. Photo 4 1 8" x 2 3 8". General light wear and agining and scattered staining to the mount as evident, a bit more pronounced here than in hand.
