Wicker Covered Demijohn with Handle honey brown and the fantastic halo-like linesThis is a very good condition antique wicker covered heavy clear glass Demijohn with handle. The basketry covering the jug is woven of flat wicker splints, and the handle is wrapped, twisted and woven at the neck of the bottle, and then smartly looped through the weave of the basket below. Easy to pop a cork in this and use it as a jug to take on picnics and to football games, or keep it on the table filled with water or red wine! 10 tall; 4 1 4
