It is a dramatically steep 2 hectare north facing vineyard of 70 year old, head pruned vines. The wine is mostly Garnacha with a touch of Carinyena (Carignan) and Garnacha Blanca. The destemmed and lightly crushed grapes always ferment in an oak vat with their natural yeasts followed by malolactic in barrique and an levage of some 16 months. Its acidity is very high, but there is a silkiness in
