SOLD Terrific Early Set of Wooden Jack Straws in Original Box live bait box grandson of Lord Edward FitzGeraldI believe this set of wooden jack straws dates to 1890s or so, and, incredibly, includes all 4 original hooks, which I know from experience is a very rare thing indeed! In pristine condition, and more or less complete, this is a perfect set to play with as well as to admire and it's quite a nice thing to have the choice of straight or bent hook depending on the form of the jack straw one is trying to lift! In their lovely original lidded cardboard
