I know these tall pins were recently nabbed at a flea market in Paris

"Spencerian" steel pen drawings provided an diversion from the more repetitive practice of writing alphabets

The paper was folding in thirds at some point but the fold lines are really not visible at all

and the location the "tea room" in Bristol NH

Hair Wreaths and Ruffles Everywhere, Very Finely Painted C. 1850s Watercolor on Card columbia likely a daguerreotypeMaybe not exactly my typical style, but this (and a second by the same maker listed separately) is amazing hard to understand scale from photos, but it took me getting out a magnifier to confirm this as a watercolor rather than a print, it is so finely and precisely executed. Perhaps there were once four of them, representing the four seasons these two, flowers in their hair and everywhere, clearly visions of spring. Mid 19th century, I am guessing
