The rod is in excellent original condition though it does have some light varnish wear
as opposed to the later Hunt models from the Maxwell era and beyond which had flamed cane to achieve the darker appearance

The Zenith was part of Hardy's Lightweight Series of reels. This was one of two wide drum Lightweight models made in the mid to late 1960s, the Husky being the other. Both were 3 3 8" diameter. Spool width 1 3 16". The reel weighs 6 3 4 oz. Original smooth alloy foot is unmolested.
